Gov. McCrory appoints Bell to NC Court of Appeals

Gov. Pat McCrory has appointed a Charlotte judge to fill the remainder of an unexpired term on the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Special Superior Court Judge Lisa Bell will fill the seat of outgoing Chief Appeals Judge John Martin, who retired August 1. She will serve on the court through December 31.
