On Sunday the Wilmington Sea Dawgs lost the 2013 basketball season opener at Blizzard Athletics, the new home of the Dawgs. On Tuesday night the Whiteville baseball team improved to 8-0 with a win over North Brunswick. Whiteville is the defending 2-A state champ in baseball. New Hanover High School will be well represented in Charlotte on Saturday at the 11th Annual Jordan Brand Classic. The showcase event will be held at the home of the NBA Charlotte Bobcats. Wildcat senior Kadeem Allen will play on the NC East Regional team. Wildcat head coach Kirk Angel and Millbrook coach Scott McInnis will be the co-coaches of Allen's squad. Full story...
