Fast forward to 2012, and point guard Kendall Marshall could be out with a broken wrist when North Carolina meets Ohio Friday in the round of 16 in St. Louis.

NC State defeated Georgetown 66-63 Sunday. The Wolfpack moves onto the Sweet 16 Friday in St. Louis. North Carolina also advances. The Heels beat Creighton Sunday. Former Hoggard guard Stilman White will likely see more playing time in UNC's next game. Kendall Marshall suffered a fracture of the scaphoid bone in his right wrist.

North Carolina sideline to watch his teammates advance in the NCAA
tournament. The question is how long the Tar Heels will have to win
without him, not to mention if his sore left wrist will heal enough
to make him a factor in March at all.
