Miracle Field of Wilmington construction almost complete

After tons of fundraising and community support, a field paved with a special rubberized turf playing surface, and playground are almost ready for use, offering those with disabilities a chance to get active.

Stan Smith is truly a tennis legend. In September the former Wimbledon singles champion will bring his racquet and game to Wilmington in order to benefit the Miracle League and the UNCW Seahawk Club.

Rally to support ballpark plan, raise money for Miracle Field

Port City Baseball is hosting a rally at Hell's Kitchen to support a proposed ballpark in Wilmington. The event will also raise money to build a Miracle Field, which is a special baseball field that allows handicapped children and adults enjoy the national pastime.
