Former WWAY GM, UNCW Hall of Famer George Diab dies at 91

George Diab died peacefully at his Wilmington home at the age of 91. One of the five original members of the Seahawk Club, Diab held the group’s first fundraising kickoff campaign at his home and through his affiliation with WWAY-TV, the first scholarship pledge to the program was established.
