A Gaston County woman reported missing in South Carolina has turned herself in to police in Charlotte. North Myrtle Beach, SC, spokesman Pat Dowling said that 42-year-old Amy Arrington of Lowell turned herself in Wednesday night.

A woman who was reported missing from North Myrtle Beach last weekend did not drown in the ocean and was never actually missing, according to the City of North Myrtle Beach Public Safety Department.

Tabor City chamber president charged with assault in South Carolina

North Myrtle Beach officials on Tuesday released a nearly hourlong police dashcam video that shows a heated altercation between a former police officer and Melissa Edge, the wife of state Rep. Tracy Edge, that took place Sept. 14 at the city's fire station on Sea Mountain Highway.
