videoThe movie "Tammy" opens nationwide Wednesday. But, in Wilmington, it opened Tuesday. It was a special night for Hollywood East. Fans of the stars Melissa McCarthy and Susan Sarandon flocked to Regal Cinemas at Mayfaire for a special early screening of the movie "Tammy."

Mayfaire stores close as restaurants, theater stay open

videoMost of the retail stores were closed today at Mayfaire Town Center. A spokeswoman says the shopping center was closed to prepare for the weather. However a few restaurants stayed open.

FIRST ON 3: Harry Potter premiere sold out at Regal Mayfaire

video Local Harry Potter fans have made tickets to tonight's premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 disappear. Workers at Regal Cinemas at Mayfaire say all 15 theaters at are sold out at for the midnight showings, including the 3D screening.
