CFPUA reports sewage spill in Porters Neck

CFPUA Operations crews have responded to and stopped a wastewater spill in the Country Haven area adjacent to the 8000 block of Market Street. At approximately 7:45 a.m. today, CFPUA staff discovered the spill while visiting the site to conduct routine maintenance. The CFPUA crew took action to stop the flow from the pipe, which appears to have been previously damaged. Full story...

The CFPUA Operations Department responded to a sewer spill which occurred Saturday from a manhole located at the Airport Pump Station #62. The loss of commercial power and failure of an in-place generator caused the spill. Full story...
