New Hanover County families will not have to worry about losing Saturdays or any part of Spring Break thanks to last week's winter storm. There's not much snow left on the ground, but when the snow was falling, and the ice was forming, kids were excused from school. But now, just as the snow is melting, so is their time off, and children in Columbus and Bladen Counties have to go to school on Saturdays to make up for their snow days. Full story...
