"The Step Up For Soldiers / Packages From Home" project we're co-sponsoring with The Big Talker FM wraps up Friday morning. Chad Adams will be live at the National Guard Armory on Carolina Beach Road from 6 am to 10 am. You can drop by there to make a donation or drop off items for our troops. The Fort Fisher Air Force Base served as the backdrop for a combat fun run on Sunday. The event was a fundraiser for the local non-profit "Step Up For Soldiers" and proceeds will benefit the fallen soldiers memorial in Wilmington which will be dedicated next month. Full story...
