By a whisker the UNCW men's swimming team captured the CAA title on Saturday night. It's the 13th consecutive CAA title for Dave Allen's squad. In a winner take all event UNC Wilmington's 400 yard freestyle relay team won the last event of the night to secure the CAA title. New Hanover High graduate Cari Blalock continues to rack up points for the North Carolina Tar Heels at the ACC Women's Swimming & Diving Championship. Blalock finished in second place in the 200 women’s butterfly on Saturday night in Greensboro. As a team UNC finished second, behind Virginia.
