State Capitol Police have arrested a third suspect in connection with the vandalism of 65 state-owned vehicles and the theft of 23 gas fleet credit cards.
A statement from the N.C. Department of Public Safety says 36-year-old Rodney Jermaine Wilson Sr. of Knightdale was arrested Tuesday after he turned himself in to authorities. He is charged with 48 separate felonies for breaking and entering vehicles, financial card thefts, and misuse and burning of personal property. The vandalism occurred last September and October, and two of Wilson's sons also face charges.
