Three fired Leland Police officers have appealed their dismissal. Today was the last day to file those appeals.
Town Manager David Hollis says he received appeals from Lt. Bill Kozak, Lt. Rick Dellapia and Ofc. John Blasingame.

Best I can tell, Leland Police Chief Tim Jayne has a free ticket to ride. The man has broken a multitude of policies and laws, yet he skates by with not a slap-on-the-wrist, but more like a light tap.
