video According to the Highway Patrol, a couple was driving toward Jacksonville on NC 53, when a deer ran into the road and hit them. The deer then catapulted off the couple's car, and into the windshield of another car that was traveling the opposite way. Full story...

Man dies after crashing classic car without seat belts

Wilmington Police says William Samuel White, 60, of Wilmington was driving his 1955 Morgan convertible north on South 3rd Street from Carolina Beach Road when he crossed the center line and hit another car. The antique car does not have seat belts, and police say he died on impact. Full story...
