Trask defeated East Columbus last week in high school football. It was the second win in a row for Trask. The Titans previously hadn't won two games in a row since 2010. We're recognizing Trask with the WWAY Farm Bureau Insurance at Mayfaire Team of the Week award. Full story...

The 2014 high school football regular season is underway. On Friday we had coverage from several games. We expected to have a full slate, but the weather interfered with those plans. Some games were completed. Some started, but will need to be resumed. Some games never started. Full story...

It only took one outing on the mound for Hoggard graduate Joe O'Donnell to earn pitcher of the week honors in the Coastal Plain League. O'Donnell was the winning pitcher in Wilmington's first win of the season on Saturday. Without O'Donnell on the mound the Sharks won their second game in a row on Monday. Plus more! Full story...

Despite recent renovations to Buck Hardee Field "Titus" the dog stole the show between innings at the Shark Tank while performing his bat boy assignment during Wednesday's home opener for the Wilmington Sharks. First place was on the line in softball at the Ashley/Laney game and Trask/West Bladen. We checked out both of those on our 11pm sports. In college baseball Trevor Kelley pitched three innings on Tuesday for North Carolina against East Carolina. We showcased that too. Plus more! Full story...

T.J. Warren, Leslie McDonald and Andre Dawkins had more than their fair share of impressive basketball plays in Burgaw on Thursday night. It was Warren's first professional game since declaring himself eligible for the NBA Draft. We had high school baseball action on Thursday.
