"I'm announcing today that we will continue all 19 of our sports programs," Chancellor Gary Miller announced to a crowded room at UNCW's Burney Center this morning. The Wilmington Sharks won their home opener on Wednesday night at Buck Hardee Field. The Sharks are off to a 2-0 start. The Portland Timbers beat the Wilmington Hammerheads in the US Open Cup.
