It's the Democrats turn this week, and our battleground state is in the spotlight. Earlier today, our team attended the NC delegate breakfast where Cacky Catlett caught up with a few of our local delegates who are excited to get to work for the 7th district.
If you've ever met Rep. Mike McIntyre, you know he's a pretty mild-mannered guy. But facing what is certainly his toughest test since first winning his seat in congress in 1996, McIntyre is showing a new level of emotion.

With the opening gavel of the Democratic National Convention less than two days away, Charlotte is finishing up months of preparations.
About 6,000 delegates and alternates are expected for the event, along with some 15,000 credentialed members of the media.
