A Wilmington man has been convicted of drug and gun charges after a 2011 shooting death in the Port City.
A federal jury convicted Willis Sarvis, 34, of distrbution of PCP and using and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime. Previously, Sarvis pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.

Wilmington Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that killed a man early this morning. No one, though, has actually been charged with the murder.
