WWAY’s high school hoops: 5 gyms, 5 games from Tuesday night
On Tuesday on WWAY we featured five different basketball games at five different venues. We checked out action in Rocky Point between the undefeated East Bladen girls vs. Trask. We checked out the undefeated West Brunswick boys against Topsail. UNCW holds off Liberty in OT
UNCW head basketball coach Kevin Keatts said last year's UNCW team would have found a way to lose Wednesday's home game against the Liberty Flames. As it turns out, UNCW won a sloppy, physical game in overtime to improve to 4-3 on the season. The game was highlighted by a handful of dunks.
