Tony Kanaan won the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday. Kevin Harvick won the Coca-Cola 600. The Wilmington Sea Dawgs dropped another home basketball game. The Dawgs are now out of playoff contention. Legendary high school football coach Jack Holley was buried on Friday in Duplin County. Legion Stadium in Wallace was packed to the top of the stands for Holley's memorial service. In order to win the CAA baseball title the UNCW baseball team must work their way through the loser's bracket of the CAA Championship. Towson defeated UNCW on Thursday 13-11. The basketball season concluded for the North Carolina Tar Heels on Sunday, but the season continues for Miami and Duke. The CAA is about to lose another member school. George Mason is expected to officially announce their plans to join the Atlantic 10 on Monday.
