The CAA Baseball Championship is underway, but severe weather has been the winner so far. The UNCW baseball team won't hit the field until Thursday afternoon. On Wednesday we stopped by Blizzard Athletics in order to catch up with two UNCW Seahawk basketball standouts. Keith Rendleman and Tanner Milson were both there to assist with Blizzard's skill development program. On Wednesday Hoggard rolled to a state playoff win in girls soccer. Plus more! Full story...

The rain held off, but it was awfully windy. Regardless, the Wilmington Hammerheads shutout Antigua 2-0 on Friday in the season opener at Legion Stadium. On Wednesday night we checked out the Wilmington Hammerheads at a meet and greet. Wilmington's pro soccer squad will open the 2013 regular season at home on Friday against Antigua at Legion Stadium. Wednesday marked the first day of the spring signing period for high school seniors who plan to play collegiate sports. Plus more! Full story...

The basketball season concluded for the North Carolina Tar Heels on Sunday, but the season continues for Miami and Duke. The CAA is about to lose another member school. George Mason is expected to officially announce their plans to join the Atlantic 10 on Monday. After Monday there will only be three founding members of the CAA left: UNCW, James Madison and William & Mary. Plus more! Full story...

The Maryland Terrapins may not make it into next week's NCAA Tournament, but the Terps sure made a big statement on Friday eliminating Duke the ACC Tournament.
