This afternoon's New Hanover County Commission agenda review meeting included something of a surprise, when Commissioner Brian Berger showed up. It's the first time Berger has attended a meeting since the Dec. 5 agenda review. There will be at least two new members of the New Hanover County Commission this fall, and there are plenty of people interested in the jobs. Earlier this year Commissioner Tom Wolfe, a Republican, said he would not run to keep his seat. Libertarian Brian Berger, the other incumbent whose term is up, did not file for reelection.
