One of the topics of discussion was a Republican whose name and face has been everywhere the past few weeks. WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- New Hanover County Commissioners talked about a lot of issues during a town hall meeting at Williston Middle School last night, but several times questions via Twitter brought the commissioners back to the ongoing issues involving Commissioner Brian Berger, including the other commissioners asking him to resign recently.
This video includes the raw video we shot during those parts of the meeting, including what Berger had to say about his fellow commissioners and responses from Chairman Jonathan Barfield and Vice Chairman Jason Thompson.

A judge has extended a protective order against New Hanover County Commissioner Brian Berger. Judge Sandra Ray Criner made the decision just before noon Friday after a hearing involving Berger and his ex-girlfriend Heather Blaylock. Full story...
Cameras were not allowed in the courtroom for Brian Berger's hearing on a protective order, but Berger talked to reporters after the hearing. The New Hanover County Commissioner has routinely accused the media and others of taking him out of context and distorting what he says. To remove all doubt, we've decided to air his entire interview.
