A Whiteville News Reporter story accused District Attorney candidate Jon David of trying to hire a man to round up votes, which David denies. We found that the reporter who wrote the story contributed to the campaign of David's opponent Butch Pope. Full story...

You may think that when you see people at the polling places on election day, trying to convince you to vote for a particular candidate, that those people are volunteers, giving their time to help their favorite candidate win elected office.
