The outrage continues after a failure to notify the public about closing the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge this weekend led to a Cape Fear "Carmageddon." Today the Department of Transportation admitted to a major breakdown of communication.

With the number of construction projects going on in our area, orange barrels have become a part of the everyday scenery. From bridge repairs to resurfacing roads, there's a lot of work going on right now. One big project that's halfway done is expected to relieve congestion between Wilmington and Leland.
