Police say around 10:40 p.m. officers responded to the beach strand area between Ocean Drive and the Village of Stump Sound, located off of NC Hwy 210, for a possible stabbing. When they got there, officers found two men dead on the sand. The names of the victims have not been released. Full story...

The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office and DEA have arrested four people for allegedly trafficking heroin. Investigators say they seized 1,560 bags of heroin during a traffic stop on NC 211 in Suppy after anonymous information and surveillance led to the stop. Full story...
