They're dancing again. For the second year in a row the UNC Wilmington women's basketball team earned an invitation to a post-season tournament. The Seahawks received their invite late Monday night. UNCW will host the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Thursday at Trask Coliseum in the 15th Annual Women's National Invitation Tournament. It's not the NCAA, but the WNIT is the best alternative. UNCW's run in the CAA Women's Basketball Tournament came to a crashing halt on Saturday afternoon when the Seahawks ran into the nationally ranked Delaware Blue Hens. The CFCC Sea Devil men's basketball nipped arch-rival Brunswick Community College. Tyler Zeller scored 30 to lead UNC over Maryland. NC State edged Miami.
