Shrine bowl roster announced for NC team

Southeastern North Carolina has representation in December's NC-SC Shrine Bowl. The roster was released on Thursday afternoon for this high school football all-star clash.

BB&T Jamboree set for August 12th

Football practice all across the state officially starts on Saturday for high school football teams. That means it's about to be jamboree time in New Hanover County. The BB&T Jamboree will kickoff in Wilmington on August 12th.

Blizzard Athletics team wins AAU tourney

The Flight 22 Blizzard Athletics basketball team is headed home with the championship trophy after capturing first place in the USC Big Shots AAU basketball tournament in Columbia, South Carolina.

NCDOT wants your feedback on future projects

The NC Department of Transportation is seeking public input on the proposed final version of the State Transportation Improvement Plan. This plan lists all the projects that will use federal funds between now and 2016. NCDOT is required by the federal government to have a plan and receive public input on it.
