Another downtown restaurant closes, state places lien on property

Census shows Wilmington still on the grow

Despite its slow recovery from the Great Recession, Wilmington continues to grow. The Port City’s population grew 1.7 percent, to 108,297 residents, according to U.S. Census Bureau estimates.

Fiat dealership coming to Wilmington

Wilmington’s Neuwirth Motors plans to add a Fiat dealership to its portfolio of Chrysler vehicles, the company’s president said Tuesday. John Gillilan said he expects that the Fiat operation will open in October.
