videoThe body of a swimmer missing since Tuesday has been found in Brunswick County. Holden Beach Police Chief Wally Layne says the body of Kwesi Sample was found around 7 a.m. about a half mile from where he was last seen.

video The jury in the wrongful termination trial of former Holden Beach Police Officer Terri Oxford was not able to reach a verdict. This is the fourth day they were in deliberations. Judge Ola Lewis declared a mistrial.

Chief denies allegations in wrongful termination trial

video Testimony continued today in the wrongful termination trial of a former Holden Beach Police officer. Holden Beach's Police Chief testified against drinking allegations, while one of his officers was suspected of being on drugs during his testimony today.

video On the stand, David Hewett said it was possible Terri Oxford lacked respect for Chief Wally Layne because she had witnessed the chief at a crime scene with alcohol on his breath. Hewett also said he never investigated rumors of Layne's drinking on the job, even though he knew of them.
