Region's road project list trimmed to save money

video Funding for several road construction projects in our area have been cut. The NCDOT’s 10-year transportation improvement plan was underfunded by $73 million. In order to offset that amount, funding for seven projects will be eliminated.

Lt. Gov., Logistics Task Force look at ideas, not how to pay for them

When asked about funding projects like I-140 and the Skyway project, Lt. Gov. Walter Dalton said that's not the main focus of the Logistics Task Force, leaving still more questions about where money for such projects will come from.
