After confirming with multiple sources that Chief Tim Jayne took his station vehicle to Myrtle Beach last year for a bachelor party, struck an officer in the gut while at the party, has ordered officers to work on his home and on neighbors' homes, along with reporting about a Leland cop shooting fellow officer Sherry Lewis between the legs at least 12 times with simulation ammunition during a training exercise, we reached out to David to see how his office was handling the allegations. Brunswick County District Attorney Jon David told us he has asked the Attorney General to appoint another attorney to be the point person for anyone who wants to come forward with allegations against the town or the police department, but the AG's office says that's not exactly the case. We have new information about the nine-day-old baby mauled to death by dogs in Bladen County. In a story you saw FIRST ON 3 online yesterday, the mother of the baby girl was arrested last week and charged with involuntary manslaughter. Full story...

Former Bladen County Schools Superintendent Greg Killingsworth is among a group of former public employees in Bladen County indicted by a grand jury for financial crimes. The District Attorney's office says the grand jury returned the indictments Tuesday. Full story...
