Laney edges Hoggard in boys soccer

videoLaney played a man up against Hoggard on Tuesday for the majority of the Mideastern Conference soccer game. The Bucs eventually found the back of the net midway through the second half to beat Hoggard 1-0. Hoggard was able to beat Laney in volleyball though. We were in Buctown for both events.

Laney edges New Hanover in soccer; Wilmington Tigers begin playoff run at home Saturday

Seahawks break home soccer attendance record and they beat the Tar Heels too

Tough road game awaits New Hanover football; Thursday soccer action from Hoggard and Laney

Wilmington's Tamera Young ends WNBA season as league runner-up; huge win for UNCW soccer

The WNBA season ended on Friday. Wilmington's Tamera Young will have to settle this season as the league runner-up. It's a wonderful title to have for the Laney High graduate. Elsewhere, Friday was more than a special night for the UNCW men's soccer team. The Seahawks knocked off nationally ranked South Carolina. Plus more!
