Independent reviewers have removed the murder of Michael Jordan's father from a list of cases mishandled by North Carolina's State Bureau of Investigation. Former FBI assistant director Chris Swecker said Thursday that the case was pulled after a second look at documents.

For the second year in a row, the induction ceremony at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Massachusetts tonight will have a big connection to the Port City. New UNCW women's basketball coach Cynthia Cooper-Dyke, the WNBA's first superstar, is among the new members being enshrined. Wilmington's Michael Jordan, who entered the Hall last year, will be enshrined again as part of the 1992 Olympic "Dream Team."
