NC State researchers predict active hurricane season for 2013

2013 should see 13 to 17 named storms forming in the Atlantic basin, which includes the entire Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, according to researchers at NC State University.

UNC will face Miami in ACC title game

Miami led from start to finish against NC State on Saturday in Greensboro at the ACC Tournament. Despite the setback NC State is still expected to get an invitation to next week's NCAA Tournament. The North Carolina Tar Heels held off Maryland to advance to the finals on Sunday.

And one in particular just got some special attention. We told you yesterday about an injured sea turtle taken to Raleigh for surgery. Today, we stopped by the hospital to check on patient.
