New Hanover High School

Wilmington Police say a New Hanover High senior was shot in the leg near the school and was taken to the hospital. Police are still trying to figure out exactly where the shooting happened and just what happened to send a young woman to the hospital and close down the school. Full story...

A security lockdown has ended at New Hanover High School, Gregory School of Science, Mathematics and Technology and New Hanover High's Jap Davis Field House, according to New Hanover County Schools. The schools were on lockdown for about 30 minutes after a shooting was reported near the campuses. Full story...
