Stephens will coach the softball team at SECC. She'll also be a physical education instructor. Monday was a light night for high school hoops, but we still managed to find action on the hardwood. video There's a new leader of the pack in Raleigh. Dave Doeren was officially introduced as the new head football coach of the NC State Wolfpack on Sunday. Former New Hanover Wildcat Cari Blalock had a great weekend in the pool at Ohio State for the UNC Tar Heels. Blalock broke a UNC school record at the Ohio State Invitational.

Monday on WWAY we checked out the Charlotte Bobcats. Last season the Bobcats only won seven games. This season they've already reached that plateau. On Monday former Hoggard football standout Jonathan Cooper was named first team All-ACC. We even have Cooper's reaction to all of his recent accolades.
