Rodney Orr has been named the boys basketball coach at Trask High School. After two seasons as Gary Battle's assistant at Pender, Orrr is now a head coach again. Previously he served as the Topsail boys basketball head coach. Full story...

It took a bit longer than expected, but Pender's Addison Spruill finally made his collegiate choice official. He signed on Tuesday with Brevard Community College in Florida. Pender's Andrienne Bannerman also signed on Tuesday. She'll play college basketball at Erskine. Full story...
