We had basketball coverage from Hoggard-Laney, Topsail-South Brunswick, Trask-Midway, North Brunswick-Dixon and East Columbus-Red Springs too. South Brunswick recommends Daniel Finn as next football coach

videoThe South Brunswick Cougars could soon have a new football coach. The school's administration has recommended Daniel Finn for the job. He would also fill a vacant physical education teaching position.

videoOn Wednesday night the losing skid continued for the UNCW Seahawks and head coach Buzz Peterson. The Seahawks lost a heartbreaker on the road against the College of Charleston. Check out our game action. In high school hoops the East Bladen girls remained undefeated with a come from behind win over West Bladen. We had highlights from the East Bladen boys game too. We also took an in-depth look at Monday's MLK Jamfest that will be held in Sampson County. Our play of the week on Friday night turned out to be a buzzer beater from an area player whose yet to reach high school.

videoFriday's Full Court Press featured a ceremony at Hoggard for Trevor Singleton. It's possible the senior may have played his last game in a Hoggard uniform. On Friday night we had loads of high school basketball action from Wilmington. We also had hoops from Burgaw, Leland and Tabor City. We went regional or you could say viral with our play of the week that featured a shattered backboard.

videoNew Hanover graduate Kadeem Allen continues to tear it up on the junior college level. The future Arizona Wildcat scored 41 points on Wednesday to lead Hutchinson to yet another victory. The UNCW men's basketball team drops to 0-2 in the CAA after an overtime loss on the road against Northeastern. UNC is off to an 0-2 start in the ACC after a loss on Wednesday to Miami. Plus more!
