Thanksgiving is a day meant to be shared with family and friends, but some people chose to invite strangers into their homes. Several families in Wilmington gave thanks to those who serve our country by welcoming Marines over to Thanksgiving dinner.

As everyone prepares to sit down with family and friends for Thanksgiving, one man says he's thankful to be alive this year. We first introduced you to Greg Frucci last year, a Wilmington sailor who has defied nature and even death. He risked everything to sail alone hundreds of miles across the Atlantic at the start of hurricane season.
