A driveway paver who got his start in Wilmington scamming consumers is back at it again, the NC Attorney General's office says. Tommy Clack has recently been reported paving driveways for older homeowners in Hope Mills, Zebulon, Greensboro and Nashville.

A paver banned from working in North Carolina was a no-show this morning in Wake County Court. Noelle Talley, a spokeswoman for the NC Department of Justice says a lawyer for Tommy Clack, who got his start in Wilmington, did attend the criminal contempt hearing.

A contractor with a long history of problems has been found in contempt for violating a court order that banned him from paving work in North Carolina, Attorney General Roy Cooper said today.
