NC State defeated Georgetown 66-63 Sunday. The Wolfpack moves onto the Sweet 16 Friday in St. Louis. North Carolina also advances. The Heels beat Creighton Sunday. Former Hoggard guard Stilman White will likely see more playing time in UNC's next game. Kendall Marshall suffered a fracture of the scaphoid bone in his right wrist.

Top-seeded Tar Heels advance in NCAA tournament

John Henson had a great seat on the North Carolina sideline to watch his teammates advance in the NCAA tournament. The question is how long the Tar Heels will have to win without him, not to mention if his sore left wrist will heal enough to make him a factor in March at all.

President picks Tar Heels to win NCAA

President Barack Obama is going back to Carolina in his NCAA tournament bracket. The president, who correctly picked North Carolina to win the 2009 NCAA championship, has the Tar Heels as the team to beat in his 2012 bracket, which was unveiled Wednesday.

UNC chief recommends 8.8 percent tuition increase
