Thanksgiving got an early start today at UNC Wilmington's annual "Wagsgiving" feast. Students lined up early to get a taste of the 1,700 pounds of turkey, hundreds of pounds of mashed potatoes and stuffing and 500 pies.

Things were back to normal at UNC Wilmington today hours after police searched for an armed robbery suspect on campus prompting a lockdown. It all started when a man reportedly robbed two women at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Hardee's on South College Road. They say he headed toward the woods on campus, which led campus police to an issue a campuswide alert.

Classes are going on as scheduled at UNC Wilmington after the campus was locked down overnight. The security measure was put in place around midnight after a man reportedly robbed at least one person in the parking lot of a Hardee's on South College Road and then ran off through campus.

College baseball teams began signing recruits Wednesday. Today at Ashley High School, two Eagles signed to play at the next level. Chance Shepard and Christian Wolfe will both play Division I baseball.
