Student athletes at UNCW got a chance to speak out at a meeting about recent cuts to the athletic department Thursday. It comes after the university announced it was cutting 4 sports next year, namely track and field, and adding sand volleyball. Full story...

The 5 k's were abundant this morning The YMCA held their 8th Annual Gallop for the Gravy event today.Event organizer Alex Mozingo says they had fewer people this year because of weather concerns, but races on Thanksgiving day have become a trend. Full story...

Jellyfish can be scary. We know they come in all shapes and sizes and some can sting, but there are a lot of unknowns as well.
