Committee picks firm to help find new UNCW chancellor

The University of North Carolina Wilmington Chancellor Search Committee has selected Parker Executive Search to guide the recruitment of a successor for Chancellor Rosemary DePaolo, who announced last month that she will retire June 30, 2011.

NC Symphony takes Holiday Pops music on the road

Conductors William Henry Curry and Jeffrey Pollock lead the orchestra in Holiday Pops beginning Tuesday at the Paramount Theatre in Goldsboro. The performances continue through Dec. 16, when the symphony ends its tour at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
