Veterans in Wilmington got some help with their health care today. The Rural Health Team from the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville visited the VFW post on Carolina Beach Road.

The lease has been signed for a new Veterans Administration clinic in Brunswick County. Rep. Mike McIntyre says the VA will take possession of the site June 1. He says operations are scheduled to begin the first week of August.
