The power was restored to the island around 11 a.m. Currently the public water system is turned off as a result of the prolonged power failure earlier this morning. This was done to reduce the risk of home sewer systems spilling sewage onto the ground. We plan to turn the water system back on this afternoon, provided no other issues arise.
