Overnight house fire believed to be arson

videoInvestigators believe a fire at a Wilmington overnight was arson. Just before 4 a.m. the call came in reporting flames at a home at 6622 Sharease Circle. Crews say smoke was showing when they got to the scene.

Wilmington firefighters put through paces in annual physical test

Fire destroys historic downtown home

One woman was hospitalized after her downtown home was destroyed by a fire Saturday morning. The historic Allen-Woodward house was engulfed in flames when the Wilmington Fire Department arrived just before 7 a.m.
