videoThe Wilmington Sharks lost both games of a doubleheader on Wednesday night. The competition will be even stiffer on Thursday. The Sharks will host Team USA on Thursday at Buck Hardee Field. videoFormer New Hanover basketball standout Kenny Gattison has been named as an assistant basketball coach for the Pheonix Suns. Gattison played for Phoenix from 1986-1989. Commissioner John Swofford put the ACC in the spotlight for a news conference at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday. The Wilmington Sharks dropped a close baseball game at home against Morehead City. Former UNCW Seahawk Keith Rendleman appears to be through with his NBA pre-draft workouts. Rendleman hopes to his hear his name at Thursday's NBA Draft. The Wilmington Sharks picked up a road win in extra innings on Monday. We had highlights! Chicago wins the Stanley Cup in hockey.

The US Open Golf Tournament has been plagued by two rain delays. The first round will be completed on Friday. The Wilmington Sharks had a comfortable lead on Thursday, but the lead evaporated once the bullpen took over. Miami beat San Antonio on Thursday. It's now 2-2 in the NBA Finals. Plus more!
