video The Cape Fear Skyway was supposed to ease congestion between New Hanover and Brunswick counties. But it might never happen after a proposal from state Sen. Bill Rabon. Years of planning and people getting their hopes up might have been for nothing.

video Wilmington City Council is moving forward with plans to try and make crossing a busy street a lot safer. Concern from UNCW staff has the city looking at giving pedestrians a path over South College Rd. instead of across it.

Wilson quits Turnpike Authority; WMPO looks for new leader

Lanny Wilson resigned today as Vice Chair of the North Carolina Turnpike Authority. Wilson also serves as chairman of the board for the Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Prganization or WMPO.
